Children's Health
You want to keep your children healthy but at times it is difficult to know where to get the help that you are looking for. It's hard to know what checkups are due and when shots are needed. Oregon SafeNet can be your resource in findng the health information you need.

Immunizations
Be sure that your child’s immunizations are up-to-date. Beginning in the 2008-2009 school year, two additional vaccines will be required: Tdap and hepatitis A.

Seventh graders will need one dose of Tdap, which provides additional protection against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). Two doses of hepatitis A vaccine will be required for children in certified childcare, preschoolers and kindergarteners. Click here for the most up-to-date chart in English and in Spanish.

If your child does not have these immunizations by the first Wednesday of February, you will receive a letter saying that your child will be excluded from school or childcare starting on the 3rd Wednesday of February.
